Maggie Gyllenhaal is reportedly expecting her second child with husband Peter Sarsgaard.
"Over Thanksgiving weekend, Maggie was telling friends that she's six months pregnant," a friend told Life & Style. "Her bump is so big!"
The 34-year-old actress first sparked pregnancy rumors at the Rome Film Festival last month, when she appeared to have a baby bump.
Gyllenhaal married Sarsgaard in 2009. The couple welcomed their daughter Ramona in 2006, shortly after announcing their engagement.
"She's thrilled to be pregnant! She and Peter have wanted another child for a while," the source continued. "They're very happy that they'll have another baby in the house soon."
The couple's representatives had no immediate comment on the reports.
According to the weekly's source, the actress' brother Jake Gyllenhaal is also excited about the news.
"Jake is so happy that she's pregnant again because he loves kids," the friend continued. "Maggie's said that he's the best uncle and has done a lot of sweet things for her first child."
Maggie Gyllenhaal most recently appeared in "Hysteria," a comedy following the invention of the vibrator. The film premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival in September and stars Hugh Dancy as a young doctor hired to aid the leading doctor in women's medicine in "stimulating the nervous system" of his female patients. The film also stars Rupert Everett, Jonathan Pryce and Felicity Jones.
Gyllenhaal rose to fame after appearing in the sadomasochistic romance "Secretary," which earned her a Golden Globe nomination. She has since appeared in films like "Sherrybaby," "World Trade Center," "The Dark Knight" and "Crazy Heart."
Sarsgaard is best known for his roles in "Garden State," "Jarhead" and "Boys Don't Cry." He most recently portrayed Hector Hammond opposite Ryan Reynolds in "Green Lantern."
UPDATE: Gyllenhaal's rep has confirmed that the actors are expecting their second child together, according to People magazine.
