Reward offered for info in Hwy 38 homicide

A reward was offered Wednesday for information leading to the arrest and conviction of parties responsible for the homicide of Redlands resident Vincent Medina.

Redlands resident Vincent Loreto Medina Jr., 34, was found dead by a photographer near the side of Highway 38 west of Mountain Home Village at 2:40 p.m. on Nov. 23. The victim has a tattoo of lips in the area of the lower right abdomen.

US Forest Service deputies and sheriff's deputies responded. The sheriff's department determined the death was a homicide.

The sheriff's department is investigating the case.

A $1,000 reward has been offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of responsible parties.
