Kristie Mansfield got the big surprise when a group of friends she has had since high school all chipped in to buy a new wheelchair for her 12-year-old son, Zach, who has spina bifida.
Zach had outgrown his previous wheelchair and the family couldn't afford a new one.
It gets better. Mansfield's good friends raised $1,400 to purchase the new wheelchair, but then the wheelchair ended up being donated.
That $1,400 will now probably go toward new leg braces for Zach.
