Crime up in over a dozen LA neighborhoods

LOS ANGELES

According to the L.A. Times, Woodland Hills and Echo Park saw a big increase in violent crime.

Woodland Hills was the most unusual, recording six violent crimes compared with a weekly average of two over the last three months.

Meantime, Manchester Square topped the list of neighborhoods with property crime alerts.

It recorded 14 property crimes compared with its weekly average of about seven over the last three months.
