Suspicious Oxnard death ruled naturally caused

OXNARD, Calif.

Oxnard police officers were called to the 100 block of N. Oxnard Blvd. by a report of a deceased male at about 9:30 a.m. Friday.

Police detectives opened a suspicious-death investigation as a result.

An autopsy conducted by the Ventura County Medical Examiner's Office determined the man died of natural causes.

The deceased man's identity was not released pending notification of next of kin.
