Police responded to a report of an armed robbery at a 76 gas station at 1075 Parkford Dr. in Redlands at about 3 a.m. Tuesday.
A man entered the gas station, claimed to have a gun in his sweatshirt and demanded cash from the clerk. The suspect allegedly took cash and ordered the clerk to lie on the ground.
Police located Terry Lee Oesterblad III near the scene. Oesterblad matched the suspect captured on surveillance video.
Cash from the gas station was found on Oesterblad.
Oesterblad was unarmed. Police said he simulated possessing a gun during the robbery.
Oesterblad was arrested and booked at West Valley Detention Center in Rancho Cucamonga.
