Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom have already made their move to Dallas and have received a slew of local love.

"Wow Dallas you guys are so freaking nice to me! Thank me!!! What a warm welcome! :) thank you @dallasmavs and everyone I have met," Khloe wrote on Twitter on Sunday.

The pair moved to Texas after Odom was traded from the Los Angeles Lakers to the Dallas Mavericks and will continue to film their reality series, "Khloe & Lamar" in their new home.

Khloe cheered on Odom during his debut on Sunday, in an NBA preseason game between the Oklahoma City Thunder and the Mavericks.

The reality star also announced plans for a Toy Drive on Wednesday, to raise money for the Children's Hospital of Dallas. Khloe has done work with the Children's Hospital of Los Angeles in the past.

Khloe also received a warm welcome from several local businesses, Big Al's McKinney Avenue Tavern put up a banner welcoming Khloe and Lamar, with the note, "Kardashians drink free... especially Rob" and the local Crate and Barrel decorated a holiday table with place cards naming the Kardashian clan.

The second season of "Khloe & Lamar" will premiere on February 19 and will capture all the drama behind the move, according a statement from the E! network.

Shortly after announcing the move, Rob Kardashian said he also planned to move to Dallas with his sister and Odom. The recent "Dancing With The Stars" finalist is a cast member on the E! series and often sleeps in a room dubbed the "man cave" in the Los Angeles house where the show's first season was filmed.

Kardashian said she was "looking forward" to moving to Dallas. "I've heard nothing but great things about Dallas and the Mavs. Can't wait to join my hubby there and get to know the city and all the wonderful people there," she told E! News.

The Dallas Maverick's head coach, Rick Carlisle also appeared excited about the new addition to the team, even if reality cameras will be following behind.

"I will say this: Khloe's my favorite Kardashian. She's the coolest," Carlisle told the Dallas Morning News on December 11.

News of Odom's trade initially broke on December 11 and came after a botched trade earlier in the week that almost had Odom packing up to New Orleans.

Kardashian married the former Los Angeles Lakers basketball player in September 2009. The couple appears on "Keeping up with the Kardashians" and the spin-off, "Khloe & Lamar." Odom has been with the Lakers since 2004. Before that he played for the Miami Heat for a season and started out his career with the Los Angeles Clippers.
