Josh Krajcik says if he wins "The X Factor," the first thing he plans to do is get some wheels.
The Ohio rocker and father is one of three contestants left on Simon Cowell's new hit singing contest series.
"My daughter is very talented and beautiful," Krajcik, 30, told OnTheRedCarpet co-host Rachel Smith. "This would give me the opportunity to give her all the opportunities that she deserves. That would be one thing. But my truck is about ready to die on me, so the first thing I'd do is probably buy a vehicle."
While Krajcik has gained musical experience during the competition, he also received some pointers about another important factor vital to most talent contests.
"I'm learning about hair and how to wash it and condition it," Krajcik joked. "It's all about conditioning the tips and not the root, and using the right products."
The two-part finale of the first season of "The X Factor" airs this week, starting on Wednesday, December 21, at 8 p.m. ET. Krajcik faces off against soul singer Melanie Amaro and hip hop star Chris Rene.
"You gotta believe that you can make it to the end," Krajcik said. "We've learned that nothing is shocking in this thing, so we'll see what happens."
The three will compete for a prize of $5 million and a recording contract - the most valuable prize offered in a singing contest series. The winner will be announced on Thursday, December 22. Justin BieberTeen pop star Justin Bieber said on his Twitter page that he plans to appear on the finale.
