Build-A-Bear recalls Colorful Hearts Teddy Bears over choking hazard

LOS ANGELES

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission says the bears' eyes can come loose and fall out, presenting a choking hazard to small children.

So far, no injuries have been reported.

The bears were sold April through December 2011 in the U.S. and Canada.

Consumers can bring the recalled bears into their local Build-A-Bear Workshop store to exchange for any available animal of their choice. For more information, consumers can call the company toll free at (866) 236-5683 or visit www.BuildABear.com.
