Authorities say the woman, who they believe may be suffering from dementia, was found on the 2100 block of West Myrtle Street.
The woman, who only speaks Spanish, was only able to provide authorities with the name "Lupe."
She is described as Hispanic and approximately 70 years old.
She was wearing a gray shirt over an orange and black long sleeve shirt, and pink polka dot pants.
Santa Ana officers transported the woman to an area hospital and contacted Adult Protective Services.
