Later this month, city officials will start granting amnesty on late fees to anyone who was ticketed between 2007 and 20011 and hasn't paid until now.
That will save parking offenders about $55. The parking fines themselves average $41.
The amnesty program runs through February. Officials say there are about 41,000 people with unpaid parking tickets.
