Frances Bean Cobain's fiancé Isaiah Silva has opened up about the couple's private romance.
"We're each other's everything," Silva told People magazine.
The 19-year-old model is the only child of Courtney Love and late husband Kurt Cobain, lead singer of the grunge band Nirvana, while Silva is the front man of the Rambles. But the 26-year-old rocker told the weekly magazine that he and Cobain don't necessarily prescribe to the rock 'n' roll lifestyle.
"We don't go out to clubs so you won't find us stumbling out of them with Lindsay Lohan. We stay at home, read books and watch 'Arrested Development,'" Silva continued.
Silva was raised in the Fullerton Assembly of God group, a Pentecostal church which focuses on strict Christian values and the second coming of Christ, but his family left the group when Silva was 18. He went on to find punk music and learned to play guitar and form new opinions about the world.
"I love strong, opinionated, intelligent women," Silva said. "Women in the [group] were totally oppressed, but I am very pro-woman."
Silva is also a teacher of special needs kids and told People, "I had to grow up much faster than I would have liked. I've been through a lot. But now, I'm totally happy."
The Rambles are gearing up to play at the Austin, Texas festival South by Southwest (SXSW) and will likely have Cobain in tow, as Silva's band mate Mark Kuchel said, "They're a great couple. Frances comes to most of our shows that she can get into."
It was announced in October that Cobain and Silva had gotten engaged. Cobain and Silva have been dating for more than a year and have not commented on the engagement report.
The two recently changed their relationship status on Facebook to "engaged" temporarily, according to California newspaper The OC Weekly. The two use fake names on the social networking website.
In October, Silva posted on his Facebook page a public photo of the two kissing, alongside the caption: "Lving m bby (:
