Carla Ann Brennan was sentenced to seven years in state prison. She pleaded guilty to stealing $262,000 from at least five students.
She took loans in their names under the pretense of getting them money for college and kept most of the cash.
The 63-year-old woman was ordered to pay more than $800,000 in restitution and fines.
