Huntington Beach police officers responded to a report of a dead body in a recreational vehicle at a residence on the 8300 block of Danbury Circle at about noon Sunday.
Ean Keith Brown, 38, had been living in the RV at the location at this parents' home. He was recently released from prison and was on probation. Several agencies began a search for Brown.
The San Bernardino County Sheriff's Dept. and the California Highway Patrol located and began pursuing of Brown northbound on the 15 Freeway at about 4 p.m. He was stopped and apprehended near the Nevada border.
Brown was arrested and turned over to Huntington Beach police. He was booked for murder and violation of parole at the city jail and was held without bail.
The dead body was determined to be a 21-year-old female Huntington Beach resident. Her identity was not released pending notification of next of kin. Her cause of death was not released. The investigation was ongoing.
