"Breaking Bad" star Aaron Paul is engaged.
The 32-year-old actor popped the question to girlfriend Lauren Parsekian over New Year's in Paris, Paul's spokesperson confirmed to OnTheRedCarpet.com on January 9.
Paul, 32, is likely best known for his work on "Breaking Bad" as Jesse Pinkman. The actor earned an Emmy Award in 2010 for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series for the role, which he started in 2008.
The show, which has become a cult favorite, follows the life of chemistry teacher Walter White (played by Bryan Cranston), who leads a secret life as a crystal meth maker and dealer, in part to pay for his cancer treatments and also so he can provide for his family. Pinkman is a former student of White's who helps him with his crystal meth business.
Paul also has credits in films like "K-PAX," "Mission: Impossible III" and "The Last House on The Left." Paul has also guest starred on series such as "CSI: Miami," "ER" and "Veronica Mars."
Parsekian is the president and co-founder of the Kind Campaign. Us Weekly reports that Parsekian wrote about the engagement on her Facebook page saying, "I'm so happy and excited and honored to share my life with the most amazing man on the planet."
AMC announced in August that "Breaking Bad" was renewed for a fifth and final season. The series will conclude with 16 episodes which will commence in early 2012.
