Kirsten Dunst gets restraining order extension against stalker

LOS ANGELES

Jean Christophe Prudhon of France has been ordered to stay away from the 29-year-old actress for at least the next three years.

In December, the 51-year-old was accused of sending Dunst dozens of love letters, and even selling his home so he could fly to the U.S. to meet her.

The "Spider-Man" star did not attend the proceedings, but wrote in a sworn declaration that she is frightened of Prudhon after he recently tried to reach her at her mother's home.

A restraining order issued at that time was set to expire on Monday but has been extended to 2015. The order also protects Dunst's mother.
