Michael Ray White, 60, was arrested Jan. 11 at the Golden Nugget Hotel and Casino after he was recognized by security officers. Detectives are now in the process of extraditing White back to San Bernardino County to face the charges against him.
On Dec. 29, 2011, White allegedly lured the Lancaster girl away from her home and sexually assaulted her at the Leisure Inn Suites where he had lived since November. He reportedly met the girl on a social networking site days before.
"They had been conversing on the social networking site and he had developed a relationship with her," said San Bernardino Police Department Chief Robert Handy.
The investigation revealed multiple other victims, authorities said.
