The exhibition of moments from 84 films will be featured on digital billboards in Los Angeles and on ABC's digital "SuperSign" in New York's Times Square. It can also be seen on Oscar.com and YouTube.com/Oscars.
The images will be displayed in groups of 20 within the next two weeks, beginning with "Bride of Frankenstein" and ending with "Avatar."
The 84th Academy Awards nominations will be announced on Tuesday at 5:30 a.m. PT, and the awards show will be presented on Feb. 26 on ABC7.
