Vanessa Paradis has finally addressed the rumors that she has split from her longtime partner Johnny Depp.
The French actress appeared on the talk show Le Grand Journal to promote her new film, "Cafe de Flore" and told host Michel Denisot that the rumors are "false."
"People say we are buying houses in the middle of nowhere, or that we have fifty two houses in France," Paradis said in her native French. "And that is along with saying we split up every winter and get married every summer, and that I'm on my twelfth pregnancy."
In December, People magazine reported that the two have been living separate lives and have not appeared on the red carpet together for over a year.
Paradis, 39, and Depp, 48, have two children together, 12-year-old daughter Lily-Rose and 9-year-old son Jack.
"All that is not too serious, but this latest one is a rumor which could cause a lot of harm to my family and my children," Paradis said seriously. Denisot finally asked the actress why she didn't respond to the rumors, which have been swirling for weeks. He asked Paradis directly, "Is the rumor false?
"Yes it's false -- of course it's false."
Depp was recently named "America's Favorite Actor" for the second year in a row, based on a poll by Harris Interactive.
Depp, who was recently seen in "The Rum Diary" is set to make a cameo appearance in the "21 Jump Street" film as Tom Hanson, a character he played in the television series of the same name during the late 80s/early 90s.
He is also set to appear as Tonto in "The Lone Ranger" film adaptation alongside "J. Edgar" actor Armie Hammer as the title character.
