Drew Barrymore showed off her engagement ring in a recent interview on the ABC show "Good Morning America" and said she is still in the early stages of planning her wedding to fiance Will Kopelman.
The two have been linked together since at least February of 2011. This will be the third marriage for Barrymore, 36. She and Kopelman, who is a 34-year-old art consultant and the son of former Chanel CEO Arie Kopelman, got engaged in Sun Valley, Idaho, over the Christmas holiday season, a spokesperson for the actress told OnTheRedCarpet.com earlier this month.
Barrymore appeared on "Good Morning America" in an episode that aired on Wednesday, January 25. When asked about her wedding plans, Barrymore told host Robin Roberts: "Just trying to figure it out. I think everyone expects you to kind of know right away what all the plans are and I'm like, 'Oh, goodness. It just happened a month ago. Do I not have it together or is it okay to keep daydreaming?'"
Barrymore married for the first time in 1994. She filed for divorce from her first husband, bar owner Jeremy Thomas, after 29 days. Their legal separation was finalized 11 months after their wedding. Barrymore then married actor Tom Green in 2001. She filed for divorce after five months. (See a list of several of the shortest celebrity marriages).
Barrymore appeared on "Good Morning America" to promote her new film, "Big Miracle," which is based on the true story of a 1988 highly-publicized international effort to rescue gray whales from being trapped in a hole in the ice near Point Barrow, Alaska. Barrymore plays Greenpeace activist Rachel Kramer, while "The Office" star John Krasinski portrays Adam Carlson, her ex-boyfriend and a reporter.
The movie also stars Kristen Bell, Dermot Mulroney and Ted Danson and is set for release on February 3.
