Demi Moore 911 call reveals she smoked 'something'

LOS ANGELES

Moore was hospitalized on Monday night after paramedics responded to a 911 call from her home in Benedict Canyon. The unidentified caller tells the 911 dispatcher that Moore was semiconscious and not able to talk.

In November, Moore announced that she was ending her marriage to 33-year-old Ashton Kutcher following news of his alleged infidelity.

In the 911 call, the caller says that Moore has been having issues lately. When the dispatcher asks whether Moore had ingested or smoked anything, the caller says that Moore had smoked something just before falling ill.

"She smoked something. It's not marijuana, but it's similar to incense, and she seems to be having convulsions of some sort," the caller says.

The dispatcher continues pressing for more information.

"Right now, is she awake," the dispatcher asks.

"Yes, well semiconscious barely," the caller responds. "Is she breathing, yes. She's convulsing."

The phone was then handed off to someone else. The dispatcher asked if Moore ingested or smoked anything in particular, and that answer was edited, keeping in line with a city policy that redacts information about specific medication.

"Was this accidental or intentional," the dispatcher asks.

"Well, she smoked something, but the reaction was accidental," the caller responds.

By the end of the phone call, once paramedics arrive, Moore's condition appears to have improved, as the caller says she has calmed down.

Earlier this week, her publicist said in a statement that Moore is seeking professional help to treat her exhaustion and improve her overall health.
