Willow Smith has seemingly retired from whipping her hair back and forth.
The 11-year-old "Whip My Hair" singer and daughter of actors Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smith debuted a newly-shaven head on her WhoSay account on Thursday (see photo below).
Smith recently released the music video for her third song "Fireball," which is a collaboration with R&B singer Nicki Minaj.
Smith has become one of the most popular pre-teen artists and rose to fame with the 2010 song "Whip My Hair." That was followed by "21st Century Girl," which hit stores in February.
Willow Smith, who is signed to Jay-Z's Roc Nation label, sang "Whip My Hair" at Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve with Ryan Seacrest and was later invited to perform at the White House's annual Easter Egg Roll before some 30,000 people.
She is also an actress and made her debut in her father's 2007 film, "I Am Legend" and also appeared opposite Abigail Breslin in "Kit Kittredge: An American Girl" in 2008.
Smith is also slated to star in an upcoming remake of "Annie".
She will also appear opposite her brother Jaden Smith in "Amulet," which follows a brother and sister duo taxed with protecting their widowed mother from "a beast threatening her from his underworld lair."
