The incident was reported shortly before 1 a.m. Monday near West 87th Place and South Broadway.
The victim was shot in the head, officials said. He was pronounced dead at the hospital.
The shooting happened near a motorcycle club, but police said it's unclear if the club is connected to the crime.
Authorities said people at the scene were not immediately cooperating with the investigation.
