Jay-Z seems to be welcome back in the friendly skies after a private jet company dropped a lawsuit against the rapper.
Air Platinum Club filed the lawsuit against Jay-Z in June 2010, claiming that he owed $137,485 for racking up 55 hours of first-class service on a private jet but only paying for 37 hours. In addition, the rapper owed the company for a trip to the United Kingdom, catering charges, taxes and fees.
According to E! Online, the suit was dismissed. It is unknown whether Jay-Z and Air Platinum Club reached a confidential settlement.
The fees shouldn't be a problem for Jay-Z, who earned a reported $37 million last year, and his wife Beyonce Knowles, who earned $35 million, according to Forbes.
Beyonce and Jay-Z, who married in 2008, welcomed their first daughter, Blue Ivy Carter on January 7 in a New York hospital.
Shortly after the birth, the rapper released a song about the baby.
