Suspect sought in fatal Apple Valley stabbing

APPLE VALLEY, Calif.

At around 8:50 p.m., police got word of a stabbing that occurred in the 15700 block of Sago Dell Road. Upon arrival, they were informed that the suspect, 26-year-old Clarence Hogue, stabbed the victim with an unknown object during a fight inside the victim's apartment. The victim was later pronounced dead at St. Mary's Hospital.

After the stabbing, Hogue fled on foot toward Highway 18 and remains missing.

Hogue is an African American male standing 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighing 165 pounds and has a tattoo on the front of his neck. According to authorities, Hogue should be considered armed and dangerous.

Investigators are asking anyone who may have information regarding Hogue's whereabouts to immediately contact Sheriff's Homicide at (909) 387-3589.
