Joan Rivers is the first to joke about how many times she's gone under the knife and told Anderson Cooper on his daytime talk show on Monday that she has had 739 procedures.
"Every weekend I just go in and I do something," Rivers said with a smile when Cooper asked her to confirm the number.
"She has a punch card," daughter Melissa said.
"You get a tenth one free. It's like coffee so you just keep going," Joan Rivers said.
Rivers admitted she gets Botox every "5 or 6 months."
When asked by Cooper if the 739 number was true, Rivers replied, "Of course not."
The mother and daughter duo were on the talk show to promote their reality series "Joan & Melissa: Joan Knows Best," which premiered on January 24 on the WE television network.
During her appearance on Cooper's show, Rivers also revealed she almost got a tattoo for her 78th birthday but decided against it at the last minute. Last month, the legendary comedian made headlines when she traded verbal jabs with Chelsea Handler.
Rivers hosts "Fashion Police" for the E! network, which is also home to Handler's "Chelsea Lately" late night talk show. Rivers appeared on Howard Stern's Sirius XM show a day after Handler in January and Stern asked Rivers about the remarks Handler made on his show.
Rivers said, "I'll tell you, number one, the girl made it on her back [expletive] the president, we all know that, of the network."
The "Fashion Police" host was referring to Handler's four-year relationship with Ted Harbert, the former CEO of Comcast Entertainment Group, which owns the E! network. The two split in 2010 and Harbert currently works as the Chairman of NBC Broadcasting.
"Number two, she's fine, she's ordinary. She's not a genius," Joan Rivers added.
