Jimmy Fallon made the mistake of challenging first lady Michelle Obama to a fitness competition to promote her Let's Move campaign.
The late night host visited the White House for Tuesday night's episode of "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon." His first embarrassment is showing up in a skintight electric blue lycra bodysuit, which Michelle immediately vetoes and the White House Portuguese water dog Bo (in his acting debut) looks at disapprovingly.
During the segment, Fallon and Michelle compete in various fitness challenges including a stair race, push-ups, tug-of-war, hula hooping and a potato sack race, set to the theme music from "Chariots of Fire."
It's a close call in the end, but Michelle Obama proves that she's been working out a bit harder than Fallon.
The first lady has been making several appearances to promote her Let's Move campaign, which campaigns against childhood obesity.
She most recently appeared on the Nickelodeon series "iCarly," where she participated in the "random dancing" segment and also promoted her Joining Forces campaign, which helps support and honor the nation's military families.
Meanwhile, Fallon recently returned to his stomping grounds on "Saturday Night Live" to host the December 17 episode. The comedian, who was a cast member on the show from 1998 to 2004, revived some of his classic characters on the show.
