Looks like Snooki and JWoww will be able to make a home in New Jersey after all.
The "Jersey Shore" stars will settle into a home in Jersey City, New Jersey to shoot their upcoming reality series spin-off, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The news comes after shooting permits for their spin-off series were denied in Hoboken.
Hoboken Mayor Dawn Zimmer said in a letter to MTV "any attempts to film in a manner that is not permitted without a permit will be dealt with immediately and aggressively by the City of Hoboken."
The mayor cited "public safety and quality of life" as her concerns.
The two reality stars have partied on MTV for five seasons of "Jersey Shore." The current season features the cast returning to their old stomping grounds of Seaside Heights, New Jersey, after a visit to Italy during the fourth season.
MTV first announced in April 2011 that plans were in place for two spin-offs featuring "Jersey Shore" cast members. Snooki and JWoww, whose real names are Nicole Polizzi and Jenni Farley, would be featured on their own series and cameras would follow Paul "DJ Pauly D" Delvecchio for his own series.
The premiere date for Pauly D's spin-off titled "The Pauly D Project" was announced on February 8. The reality series will premiere on March 29 at 10:30 p.m. on MTV.
A premiere date for Snooki and JWoww's series has not been set.
Snooki recently revealed in an interview that she considers herself to be bisexual. Snooki and Jenni "JWoww" Farley also opened up about the sexuality of another cast-member on the MTV reality series, Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino.
