Jenny McCarthy has reportedly singled out her next love interest.
The 39-year-old actress was introduced to Denver Broncos star Tim Tebow, thanks to talk show host Rosie O'Donnell.
"Just met Tebow. @Rosie tried fixing me up with him on a date," McCarthy wrote on Twitter on February 3. "She told him that I love Jesus. Haha"
McCarthy was doing a Sirius radio interview with O'Donnell and according to In Touch magazine, told the host that she "had a crush on Tim Tebow."
Tebow was doing another radio interview nearby, and according to the tabloid, O'Donnell dragged McCarthy over and said, "Hi, I'm Rosie O'Donnell and this is Jenny McCarthy and she's single. I think you two would be perfect together. Now exchange telephone numbers."
The pair exchanged numbers and talked for a while, McCarthy posted a photo of her talking to the football player with the caption, "Me talking to Tebow. I can't tell if he looks smitten or horny."
There is no word on whether the pair has gone on a date.
McCarthy split with actor Jim Carrey in 2010, after dating for nearly five years. She also dated sports agent Paul Krepelka in 2011, but told O'Donnell that they broke up late last year.
Tebow has become a pop culture icon after sparking the meme "tebowing," with his touchdown ritual, which involves getting down on one knee to start praying, even if everyone else around you is going something completely different.
The 24-year-old quarterback was born in the Philippines, the son of a Christian preacher and Baptist missionary. Tebow supports over 40 national evangelists working in the country.
McCarthy rose to fame as Playboy magazine's 1994 Playmate of the Year and appeared as a host on MTV's dating show, "Singled Out." She has appeared in her own comedy series, "The Jenny McCarthy Show," guest starred on the sitcom "Two and a Half Men," had parts in movies such as "Dirty Love" and "Scream 3," and penned several books.
Jenny McCarthy recently co-hosted "Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve" in New York's Times Square and kissed a New York City police officer to ring in 2012. She told co-host Ryan Seacrest on the air: "I just happened to be standing near that hot cop." The man, who was not identified, said he rated her kiss a 10.
