Whitney Houston's 18-year-old daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown was taken from the Beverly Hilton hotel in Beverly Hills, Calif. on Sunday morning in an ambulance, it was confirmed to OnTheRedCarpet.com.
Brown, who is the only daughter of the late singer and Bobby Brown, is believed to be distraught over her mother's death and was awake and alert at the time of transport and brought to the Cedar Sinai Hospital at 10:26 a.m. PT. Her current condition is unknown.
Brown is an aspiring singer and actress and was with Houston during what was to be her final performance on Thursday, February 9.
The music legend was at the "Kelly Price & Friends Unplugged: For The Love Of R&B Grammy Party" at Tru Hollywood nightclub on Thursday, February 9. Kelly Price called Houston up on stage and the pair sang a duet of "Yes, Jesus Loves Me" before Houston blew kisses to the crowd and walked off stage. Brown walked the red carpet with her mother before the event.
Houston was pronounced dead at age 48 at the Beverly Hilton hotel in Beverly Hills, California on Saturday, February 11, a day before the 2012 Grammy Awards.
Houston married Brown's father Bobby Brown in 1992 and filed a domestic abuse charge against him the following year. Bobbi Kristina Brown is the couple's only child. The pair got divorced in 2007.
Brown was also visibly upset over the news of his ex-wife's death. He took the stage with his former group New Edition in Southaven, Mississippi shortly after receiving the news on Sunday, according to the Associated Press.
"First of all, I want to tell you that I love you all," Brown told the sold-out crowd. "Second, I would like to say, I love you Whitney. The hardest thing for me to do is to come on this stage."
UPDATE: Bobbi Kristina Brown was taken to the hospital "to be treated for stress and anxiety," a source close to the family told OnTheRedCarpet.com. She was released from the hospital as of 1:43 p.m. PT.
