The accident occurred at 10100 S. Grandee Ave. Los Angeles Sheriffs were called at 3:15 pm. It is not known if the train was Metrolink or Union Pacific.
The woman, whose age is unknown, was transported to St. Francis Medical Center in the city of Lynwood.
Trains at the 103rd Street station saw a 20-minute delay.
