Volunteers in Washington are trying to help find papers Josh Powell may have dumped before killing himself and his two sons.

Volunteers are searching through more than 20,000 pounds of recycled paper, junk mail and newspapers at a recycling plant south of Tacoma.

Despite his death, Powell remains a person of interest in the disappearance of his wife, Susan, in 2009. Last week, investigators said Powell set off an explosion at his home, killing himself and his two sons.
