Will Ferrell and Zach Galifianakis are the latest celebrities to be named as presenters for the 2012 Academy Awards.

This will mark the first time Galifianakis, known for the R-rated comedy "Hangover" film franchise, will appear on stage at the Oscars and the fourth such presenting stint for Ferrell.

At the 2007 Academy Awards, he and fellow funnyman Jack Black showcased their singing skills with a song mocking boring Oscar acceptance speeches often given by winners (see video, below). Ferrell was also an Oscar presenter in 2006 and 2004.

Ferrell and Galifianakis recently filmed the movie "The Campaign" together and have collaborated on other comedy projects before. Ferrell, the co-creator of the "Funny Or Die" online comedy video portal, has also starred in and produced Galifianakis' web talk series "Between Two Ferns" (see video - warning: Contains explicit content)

Galifianakis also recently appeared in the 2011 movie "The Muppets," whose main stars, Kermit and Miss Piggy, are also set to present awards at the 2012 Oscar ceremony.

Other presenters include Michael Douglas, Tina Fey, Halle Berry, Bradley Cooper, Chris Rock, Tom Cruise, Penelope Cruz, Cameron Diaz, Tom Hanks, Angelina Jolie, Rose Bryne, Milla Jovovich, Ellie Kemper, Jennifer Lopez, Melissa McCarthy, Wendy McLendon-Covey, Maya Rudolph, Ben Stiller, Kristen Wiig and Emma Stone.

Cirque du Soleil will also debut an exclusive performance at the ceremony. It will feature the largest Cirque cast ever assembled for a single act and will be accompanied by music from Oscar-nominated composer Danny Elfman. This will mark the second time Cirque du Soleil has performed during an Academy Awards telecast.
