OTRC: Zac Efron reportedly drops a condom at 'The Lorax' premiere

Zac Efron became a little embarrassed on the red carpet at the premiere of "The Lorax" in Los Angeles on February 19.

The 24-year-old actor reportedly dropped a condom after reaching into his pocket at the premiere. He later picked up the gold packet and mouthed "Oh my god," to his publicist, according to US Weekly.

The incident was captured on video, which can be seen below. Efron can also be seen turning his back to photographers for a few seconds while trying to suppress a laugh. Photos from the premiere can be seen here. Efron's spokesperson had no immediate comment.

The actor lent his voice to the lead character in the children's film, based on the children's book of the same name written by Dr. Seuss in 1971. Taylor Swift, Danny DeVito, Ed Helms and Betty White also lend their voices in the film, which is due out March 2.

Swift and Efron recently denied dating rumors while on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show."

"We are not a couple. He's awesome, we are not a couple though. You hear people get together when they're shooting movies, co-stars," Swift said. "But not like animated co-stars. You know what I'm saying. Oh my god, as we were recording our voiceovers on separate coasts we really connected."

In the past, Efron dated his "High School Musical" co-star Vanessa Hudgens from 2007 to 2010. He has also been linked to Rumer Willis and Lily Collins.

Up next, Efron will appear in "The Lucky One," based off the Nicholas Sparks novel of the same name. The actor buzzed off his famous hair and bulked up for his role in the film, where he plays a marine that survived three tours of duty in Iraq.

"The Lucky One" is slated for release on April 20, 2012. Watch the trailer for "The Lucky One" and video of Efron at "The Lorax" premiere below.
