Michelle Williams donned a menswear-inspired look to the 27th annual Film Independent Spirit Awards on Saturday.
The actress wore a chic Louis Vuitton sport coat and short suit with peep-toe heels. She accessorized her look with an Olympia Le-Tan clutch made to look like a copy of J.D. Salinger's "The Catcher in the Rye."
Williams has carried Le-Tan clutches to various events, including the BAFTA Awards, where she carried one made to look like Arthur Miller's novel "The Misfits. " The tribute to Miller was fitting, as the author was married to Marilyn Monroe, who Williams portrayed in "My Week With Marilyn."

British actor Eddie Redmayne plays Clark, while Kenneth Branagh portrays Sir. Laurence Olivier. The movie also stars Emma Watson, who plays Hermione in the "Harry Potter" films.
Williams, who won a Golden Globe in January for her role as Monroe, rose to fame playing Jen on the teen drama series "Dawson's Creek."
She earned Oscar nominations for her roles in the movies "Blue Valentine," which saw Ryan Gosling playing her lover, and "Brokeback Mountain," which starred Heath Ledger. The two would later become involved romantically and have a daughter, Matilda. Ledger died at age 28 in 2008.
