Target will no longer be selling a greeting card that pokes fun of the late Whitney Houston and her rocky relationship with ex-husband Bobby Brown.

The card reads: "Next time you think of dating the bad boy, consider Whitney Houston."

Some people have blamed Brown for Houston's reported problems with drugs over the years. Houston married Brown in 1992. The pair got divorced in 2007. Houston had sole custody of the couple's only daughter, 18-year-old Bobbi Kristina Brown.

Target pulled the controversial card, saying that it never intends to offend guests with its products, according to the Associated Press. The company said the card was sold in its stores before Houston's death.

The singer was pronounced dead at age 48 at the Beverly Hilton hotel in Beverly Hills, Calif. on February 11, a day before the 2012 Grammy Awards.

Investigators have not revealed what killed Houston, who was found unconscious and underwater in a bathtub by a member of her staff. Her autopsy has been completed but the results will not be released until a toxicology report is produced.
