The chase ended at the intersection of Arden Drive and Freer Street in Temple City. Investigators said the truck the suspect was driving crashed into a wall outside a house in the area.
The suspect was shot in the upper torso. He was taken to a local hospital in unknown condition. A second man inside the vehicle was also taken into custody. No officers were injured.
It wasn't immediately known what led to the officer-involved shooting. The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department is investigating the incident.
