Taylor Swift and Kayne West have moved on from the 2009 Video Music Awards incident and now it looks like Swift is even wearing one of West's designs.
Swift is featured on the cover of the April issue of Australia's Harper's Bazaar and in a fashion spread the singer dons a striped top designed by the rapper, who has his own fashion line. Swift is wearing a black top, seen here and below, under a wrap by Marin Margiela.
According to E! News, Christine Cantenera - the Harper's Bazaar editor who styled Swift's shoot - also consulted with West on his spring 2012 collection.
West recently showed his DW by Kanye fall 2012 fashion collection at Paris Fashion week. However, it was a pair of his high heels from his fall 2011 collection that sent the web buzzing last week. The rapper's stiletto sandals, which are constructed of calf leather and embroidered pearls and were designed by Giuseppe Zanotti specifically for his runway show, have gone on sale on Colette Paris' website for a cool 4,420 Euros, which converts to roughly $5,888.
West famously interrupted Swift's acceptance speech for Best Female Video at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards. He took the stage and grabbed the microphone from Swift's hand and insisted Beyonce should have won the award. He later apologized several times in interviews and on Twitter for the incident. Swift sang a song about it at the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards.
West made headlines in August for saying that he sometimes feels misunderstood and that people think of him as Hitler.
"I walk through the hotel and I walk down the street, and people look at me like I'm (expletive) insane, like I'm Hitler," the 34-year-old rapper said at the U.K.'s Big Chill music festival, according to the Associated Press.
