Oxnard armed-robbery suspect sketch released

OXNARD, Calif.

A male suspect allegedly attempted to rob two men in the parking lot of an IHOP restaurant on N. Oxnard Blvd. at 8 p.m. on Feb. 23. Police said the two men did not cooperate, and the suspect fled on foot down Gonzales Rd.

In a Lowe's store parking lot, the suspect allegedly threatened a man in a car with a gun and demanded the victim's property. The victim gave the suspect cash, and the suspect departed northbound through the lot.

The suspect was described as a Hispanic man in his 20s.
