The shooting happened on the 14600 block of Rio Grande Drive near Delphinium Avenue at about 8 p.m. Saturday when Moreno Valley police were called about an assault with a deadly weapon.
Police say one person died at the scene, and the other three victims were transported to an area hospital, where they were expected to survive.
The motive behind the shooting remains unknown as authorities continue their investigation. No arrests were made.
