Huntington Beach Fire responded to the flames in the 18,000 block of Pueblo Circle at 5:39 a.m. The residents of the unit on fire said they woke to find smoke throughout their condo. As they were exiting they noticed flames in the kitchen area. The couple was able to safely escape with their dog. No injuries were reported.
Crews kept the actual fire from spreading beyond the original unit, but there was some cosmetic damage to one neighboring unit.
