Rihanna, 24, got herself inked on March 15 in New York. Bang Bang has created most of her tattoos. The 26-year-old told Us Weekly that he placed the new one on the R&B singer's collarbone "because it's easy for her to hide with a necklace but also can be in plain sight."
"She always flips out [when it's done] and jumps up and down like a 16-year-old girl getting her first car," he told the magazine.
Rihanna has approximately 16 tattoos, including the word "Shhh" on her right forefinger, the phrase "Rebelle Fleur" on the left side of her neck and a faint imprint of the words "Thug Life," inspired by slain rapper Tupac, on her knuckles.
Rihanna has been busy hanging out with her grandparents in New York. She helped celebrate her grandmother Dolly's birthday and posted several photos of the event on her own Twitter page. She also shared a quote from her grandfather, who joked about her constantly-changing hair styles.
"My GranDad: Robyn how ya is [sic] get hair from red to cream to black??? Cuz ya don't carry wigs!!! Ya does wash it out?! ME: ROTFL (no words)" Rihanna Tweeted on March 16.
The Barbadian singer also posted a photo of her grandparent's carpet, which appeared to be wrapped in the plastic covering it came in, with the caption, "This how u know u got caribbean grandparents."
