Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino is recuperating at an "undisclosed location," the reality star's rep confirmed to OnTheRedCarpet.com on March 20.

"[Michael Sorrentino] has spent the past several weeks at an undisclosed location for much needed rest and recuperation after his extensive production and appearance schedule," Sorrentino's rep said in a statement.

The reality star's rep added that they would not confirm TMZ's report that the reality star is in rehab for substance abuse.

It was confirmed on March 19 that "Jersey Shore" would return for a sixth season with all of the cast members, including soon-to-be mom Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi. The new season will film in the show's original location of Seaside Heights, New Jersey.

Polizzi announced her pregnancy on March 7. She is also engaged to the baby's father, boyfriend Jionni LaValle

"Jersey Shore," which depicts the lives of party-loving, self-proclaimed "Guidos and Guidettes" and is one of the top-rated cable programs, just ended its fifth season. Polizzi is filming a spin-off show with cast member Jenni "JWoww" Farley.

The premiere dates for the sixth season of "Jersey Shore" and Polizzi and Farley's spin-off have not been announced. "Jersey Shore" star Paul "Pauly D" Delvecchio also headlines a new show called "The Pauly D Project." It debuts on MTV on March 29.
