Reese Witherspoon is pregnant with her third child, which will be her first with husband Jim Toth, reports say.

The actress, who turns 36 on Thursday, and Toth, a Hollywood talent agent, have been married for almost one year. Us Weekly magazine recently published a cover story titled "Reese is pregnant!" and quoted an unnamed source as saying that Witherspoon is expecting their first baby and "is right around 12 weeks," adding that she is "not planning to announce it." Witherspoon's spokesperson had no immediate comment.

People magazine reported on Wednesday, March 21, that "several Witherspoon pals" confirmed the pregnancy and quoted one friend as saying the actress and Toth "are both thrilled."

Witherspoon and actor Ryan Phillippe, her first husband, are parents to daughter Ava, 12 and son Deacon, 8.

She and Phillippe, her co-star in the hit 1999 film "Cruel Intentions," married in 1999. She filed for divorce in 2006. In December 2010, it was announced that Witherspoon was engaged to Toth after dating him for about a year. The two wed in a private ceremony on March 26, 2011 at her ranch estate in Ojai, California.

Witherspoon also discussed her love life in an interview with Glamour magazine earlier this year.

"I don't want to disparage any of the other relationships that I've had that were meaningful and wonderful," she said. "But what I'm finding out is that it's very comfortable to be with somebody who understands my career, but doesn't do what I do."

The actress recently appeared in the 2012 film "This Means War" with Chris Pine, Tom Hardy and E! talk show host Chelsea Handler.

Witherspoon has also appeared in the 2011 romantic comedy film "How Do You Know" with Owen Wilson and Paul Rudd and the 2010 film "Water for Elephants" with "Twilight" actor Robert Pattinson.
