Miley Cyrus sparked engagement rumors, posting a photo of her new manicure with a prominent sparkler on her ring finger.
The caption of the photo, which was posted on March 22, offered no hints about the ring only stating, "I am soooo obsessed with [Jenna Hip] nail foundations! It looks so chic and classic!"
The 19-year-old singer has been dating the "Hunger Games" actor on-and-off for over two years. Hemsworth attended the premiere of his new film with Cyrus, who was his co-star in the 2010 movie "The Last Song."
At the premiere, E! Online asked Cyrus about what the couple does in their alone time. She said, "We have three dogs, so that takes up most of our time... The only time we leave the house is to go to the pet store or the park."
OK magazine reported that Hemsworth is ready to propose to the former "Hannah Montana" star and that the pair have "seriously" talked about marriage.
Hemsworth and Cyrus have not addressed the reports.
In his new film, the 22-year-old Australian actor plays Gale Hawthorne, the best friend of heroine Katniss Everdeen, portrayed by Jennifer Lawrence. In "The Hunger Games," Everdeen lives in a post-apocalyptic future where a boy and girl from various districts are chosen and taken to a massive area where they must survive and fight to death.
Hemsworth recently laughed off rumors that his girlfriend Miley Cyrus is jealous of his "Hunger Games" fame. The actor is just getting used to the fan frenzy but told "On Air with Ryan Seacrest" that Cyrus is happy for him.
"She's one of the biggest stars in the world, there's no shadowing her," Hemsworth told Seacrest. "She embraces it, she's very very happy for me. I've had a few marriage proposals from 12 year old girls! It's really an awkward question to get a marriage proposal from someone you don't know at all, and who doesn't know you!"
