Kim Kardashian is considering pressing charges against a woman who flour-bombed her during an event on Thursday night.

"I said earlier no I wasn't [going to press charges]," Kardashian told E! News. "[But] I am just going to think about it, because I don't want someone to think they can really get away with that."

The reality TV star was at the London West Hollywood Hotel on March 22 for an event to promote her new fragrance line when a young woman threw a bag of white powder, which was later revealed to be flour, at her. Kardashian was then whisked away by her handlers.

"I was laughing it off earlier and, you know, I think that is the only thing I knew how to do at the time," Kardashian continued. "But I just think it is such a shame that someone like that... would ruin an event, or attempt to ruin an event, that was based around, not only my fragrance, but this organization, Dress For Success. I mean that's what the event was about, [for] underprivileged women."

Kardashian's mother Kris Jenner praised her daughter for handling the situation so well at the time, writing on her official website, "I am so proud of my daughter for handling this situation so professionally and with such poise! Kim wasn't phased [sic] by the attack and simply walked away from the red carpet, brushed herself off and headed right back out!!"

Los Angeles County sheriff's deputies said the woman who confronted Kardashian was detained by hotel security and later freed at the scene. No arrests were made and the identity of the assailant has not been released.

"When deputies arrived, they learned Kim Kardashian was hosting an event at the hotel," the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department said in a statement obtained by OnTheRedCarpet.com. "As Kardashian stood in the hotel lobby, a woman threw powder on her. The woman was detained by hotel security."

"After the incident, Kardashian returned to her room, where she removed the powder from her hair and clothing and returned to the event," the statement added. "Although Kardashian told the deputies she did not want to press charges against the woman, a non-criminal battery report was taken. Paramedics were summoned to the scene. However, Kardashian refused medical attention."

The 31-year-old "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" star didn't seem mad about the situation at the time and walked back to a crowd of journalists after dusting herself off. E! Online quoted her as saying it was the "craziest, unexpected, weird thing that ever happened" to her.

"I told my makeup artist I needed a little bit more powder," she said, as seen in a video posted by the outlet. "Luckily, she didn't get me too bad."

There was no word on a motive, but the site said some bystanders heard the attacker mention something about fur. Kardashian was dressed in a pantsuit and did not appear to be wearing fur products at the time.

It is unclear how the woman bypassed security at the hotel. A spokesperson for the venue told OnTheRedCarpet.com: "The London West Hollywood provided full cooperation with local authorities regarding last night's incident. Out of respect to the parties involved, we have no further comments at this time."
