Victorville high school soccer coach arrested for sex with student

VICTORVILLE, Calif.

An eyewitness reported to the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Dept. inappropriate behavior between a soccer coach at Oak Hills High School and a student.

A sheriff's deputy interviewed the student in question, according to the department, and the suspect was identified as Brandon Staples.

The suspect was located and arrested without incident by a department detective.

Staples was charged with unlawful sex with a minor, oral copulation with a person under 18 years of age, and burglary.
