"That '70s Show" star Lisa Robin Kelly says she was not under the influence of any substances when she posed for what has become a famous mug shot that was taken after her weekend arrest for suspected domestic violence.

The 42-year-old had denied the allegation earlier this week and appeared on the ABC series "Good Morning America" on Thursday, April 5, distraught and in tears as she spoke about the incident. It has made headlines, mostly due to the unflattering mug shot, which shows her with messy hair and a wide-eyed expression. Some people have compared it to a picture taken of Nick Nolte after a DUI arrest.

"My poor mother has to look at that picture of me," Kelly said about her booking photo. "That doesn't look like me. It's not me."

When asked if she was on drugs at the time her mug shot was taken, she said: "Absolutely not. There is nothing that I was on or abusing at that time."

Los Angeles authorities detained the actress on Saturday and held her in custody for several hours before releasing her on a $50,000 bond. She has not been charged by prosecutors. The man she is accused of assaulting is her ex-boyfriend, John Michas. He has not commented.

In 2010, Kelly was arrested for drunken driving in Mecklenburg, North Carolina and pleaded guilty. She was sentenced to 12 months of unsupervised probation. Kelly said on "GMA" that she once had a "drinking problem." According to the outlet, she has been sober for the past three months.

"I had lost a baby," she said on the show. "As a result of that, I lost everything and I was abusing alcohol, which I no longer do."

She and Michas lived together near Los Angeles and became involved in a confrontation over the weekend. Kelly had first addressed the incident on her Facebook page earlier this week and said that she "did nothing to hurt" him. She posted a photo of a middle-aged man lying in bed with a cigarette in his mouth.

She had told TMZ that Michas had told police that she attacked him. Kelly denied this and said he had roughed her up. When asked if she assaulted Michas, she told "GMA": Absolutely not. This is all a bunch of ... made-up stuff."

Kelly played Laurie Forman, brother of Topher Grace's character, on "That '70s Show" between 1998 and 2003. She was then replaced by actress Christina Moore on the series, which ended in 2006. It launched cast members Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher to international fame. Kelly's final on-screen acting role was in a 2005 short called "The Food Chain: A Hollywood Scarytale."

The stars of "That '70s Show" are set to reunite at the FOX network's "25th Anniversary Special," which airs on April 22. A rep for the network had no immediate comment about whether Kelly will join fellow former cast members Kunis, Kutcher, Laura Prepon and Wilmer Valderrama on the program. It will also feature reunions of casts of "Married With Children, "Beverly Hills, 90210" and "The X-Files."
