OTRC: Lisa Vanderpump talks 'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' season 3, 'SUR' spin-off

Lisa Vanderpump talks to OnTheRedCarpet.com at the grand opening of restaurant Planet Dailies and its cocktail lounge Mixology 101 in Los Angeles on April 5, 2012. Vanderpump rose to fame as a reality star with the the Bravo 'The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' and recently received a spin-off, 'SUR,' named after her own Hollywood restaurant and lounge. She told OnTheRedCarpet.com at the event that 'the jury is out' regarding her participation in a third season of 'The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.'

Lisa Vanderpump says "the jury is out" about whether or not she will return for a third season of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills," but is excited about her new spin-off.

Bravo officials announced earlier this week that it is developing a new series for the 52-year-old British reality star called "SUR," which centers around a Los Angeles restaurant and lounge by the same name that she co-owns with her husband, Ken Todd. The cable network airs the hit "Real Housewives" franchise and Vanderpump is the first cast member of its "Beverly Hills" edition to receive a show of her own.

"That's very exciting - the fact that I've been given a spin-off by Bravo. I think it's very exciting going forward, so we'll see," she told OnTheRedCarpet.com at the opening of another Los Angeles restaurant, Planet Dailies, on Thursday, April 5, holding her dog Giggy.

She also added about "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills": "We still don't know about season 3 - the jury's still out on that."

Bravo has not made an official announcement about the future of the show, whose season 2 finale aired in February. Unconfirmed reports say most of the remaing cast members, including Vanderpump, are expected to return.

Camille Grammer, ex-wife of "Frasier" actor Kelsey Grammer, announced in late March that she was leaving the series and denied reports that said she had been fired.

There are several "Real Housewives" stars who headline their own Bravo reality shows. "The Real Housewives of New York City" actress Bethenny Frankel's spin-off "Bethenny Ever After" is on its third season.

"The Real Housewives of Atlanta" cast member Kandi Burruss headlined the singing contest special "The Kandi Factory," which Bravo announced will be made into a series. Her "Real Housewives" co-star, Kim Zolciak, and her new husband and football player Kroy Biermann star in "Don't Be Tardy for the Wedding," which is set to premiere on April 26.

Vanderpump was joined at the Planet Dailies opening by celebrities such as Jennifer Lopez and boyfriend Casper Smart, "American Idol" alum Pia Toscano and Cee Lo Green of the NBC singing contest series "The Voice." Check out photos from the event.
