Eddie Kaye Thomas reprises his role as Finch from the "American Pie" franchise in the latest film "American Reunion." However, Thomas says that Facebook, takes all the surprise out of high school reunions.
"I attended my high school reunion. I'll tell you what the problem is with high school reunions is now is that you can scout it all out on Facebook, so there's not that many surprises," he told OnTheRedCarpet.com host Rachel Smith at the film's premiere on March 19. "You know who got fat, you know who got hot, you know who's unemployed, which saves it because you don't see the girl that you had a crush on in 10th grade and go, 'Oh my God, you gained so much weight!' You don't say that, which is good. God bless Facebook."
"American Reunion" sees the characters attending their high school reunion and hits theaters on April 6. It stars other past cast members such as main star Chris Klein, Jason Biggs, Tara Reid, Shannon Elizabeth, Thomas Ian Nicholas, Mena Suvari, Natasha Lyonne, Chris Owen, Jennifer Coolidge and Alyson Hannigan.
"We don't look too bad after all we've been through, right? I mean, you'd expect people to look a bit more worn and torn but things are all right."
In the original film, his character Finch makes a pact with his high school friends to lose their virginity by prom. Finch fails but the morning after he sleeps with the mother (Jennifer Coolidge) of his high school frenemy Stifler (Seann William Scott.)
